This module provides strategies for including a survivor’s body and physical health in healing. After completing this module, advocates will be able to:
- Identify how trauma impacts a survivor’s body and health in a long-term way
- Recognize how healing in the body and mind is connected
- Model techniques to help adult survivors of child sexual abuse reconnect with their bodies
This module is part of the Healing in Motion: Coalitions Supporting Growth and Change in the Lives of Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse. The curriculum is part of a larger project called Building Resilience: Enhancing Rural Advocacy for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.
