This webinar was created for OVW Transitional Housing grantees and introduces the concept of trauma and holistic healing, highlights why alternative healing modalities beyond talk therapy and crisis intervention are helpful, and reviews how holistic healing can be useful specifically to help survivors of sexual violence. Presenters review how programs can begin to collaborate with community partners in order to provide appropriate referrals to holistic healing practices and how programs can begin to think about having in-house experts for alternative healing modalities.
