September Office Hours for Rural Advocates
September 19 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT
Our Rural Team loves to provide support on a variety of issues related to rural services for survivors of sexual violence. But, sometimes prearranging an appointment can seem intimidating or just plain inconvenient. Now we offer Office Hours, which is a space once a month for advocates to drop in to ask questions, brainstorm new ideas, and to hear not just from our rural team but also from rural peers around the country. Topics addressed during Office Hours can range from envisioning supports for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, discussing new and safer ways to connect with our rural communities during the current COVID-19 pandemic, to chatting about how programs across the country advertise support groups, and more! Office hours last for one hour the third Tuesday of the month. You can join at any point during the hour, there is no such thing as late!
Simultaneous Spanish and English interpretation and closed captioning will be provided. Se ofrecerá interpretación simultánea al español y subtitulado en inglés.
There is no registration required. Everyone on our email list will receive a zoom link to join the morning of office hours. If you aren’t sure if you are on our email list, email Leah@iowacasa.org or LaShae@iowacasa.org
