Our Rural Team loves to provide support on a variety of issues related to rural services for survivors of sexual violence - but sometimes prearranging an appointment can seem intimidating or just plain inconvenient. Now we offer Office Hours, which is a space once a month for advocates to drop in to ask questions, brainstorm new ideas, and to hear not just from our rural team but also from rural peers around the country. Topics addressed during Office Hours can range from envisioning supports for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, brainstorming ways to bring an anti-racism approach into advocacy services, discussing new and safer ways to connect with our rural communities during the current COVID-19 pandemic, to chatting about how programs across the country advertise support groups, and more!
Office hours last for one hour on the third Tuesday of the month. You can join at any point during the hour, there is no such thing as late!
Registration is not required, the zoom link is sent out the day of. To be put on our email list to receive the zoom link, email Leah@iowacasa.org
